Enable "Ask users for their email" feature for a chatbot

Your chatbot can ask users for their email address, so you can follow up a conversation over email or import leads into your CRM

1. Go to your UseChat Dashboard

2. Click on Edit for the chatbot you want to enable this feature for

3. Enable "Ask users for their email address"

4. Click on Save changes

5. Click Try to see how the feature works

6. See users are now prompted to enter their email address

This is shown after they've sent their first message to the chatbot

7. Click on Inquiry about UseChat: Requesting Assistance

8. Find the user's saved email address in the chatbot's conversation history
